Support Our Veteran Students and their Families!

UHD's Military Affiliated Resource Center (M-ARC) supports those who have courageously served our nation and their families. At the University of Houston-Downtown, M-ARC assists more than 500 veterans currently pursuing degrees, along with reservists, guardsmen, and dependents of disabled or deceased service members. These students bring leadership and resilience to campus, and UHD is proud to support their academic journeys.

M-ARC ensures that education benefits are properly processed by certifying enrollments with the Department of Veterans Affairs, monitoring academic progress, and answering questions about veteran benefits. Additionally, the Military-Affiliated Resource Center coordinates programs and events that allow military-connected students and their families to connect and engage with one another. M-ARC strives to educate the entire Gator community on the unique experiences and perspectives of UHD military-connected students.
