UHD's Veterans Services supports those who have courageously served our nation. At the University of Houston-Downtown, Veterans Services assists more than 500 veterans currently pursuing degrees, along with reservists, guardsmen, and dependents of disabled or deceased service members. These students bring leadership and resilience to campus, and UHD is proud to support their academic journeys.
UHD’s Veterans Services Department ensures that education benefits are properly processed by certifying enrollments with the Department of Veterans Affairs, monitoring academic progress, and answering questions about veteran benefits.
